First of all, this post is likely to be the first of many, so if by the end of this you’re bored, I apologise in advance. Anyway, it’s been just over a week now since me and Yusuff put in an offer on a house which was ACCEPTED! We’re finally buying our very first home together and I’m so excited.
So, naturally like I’m sure 95% of all girls do, I have been absolutely hammering Pinterest every day for hours on end, just to get some ideas of how I wanna decorate once we get the keys. The only down side to Pinterest is that all the houses on there look amazingggggg but they’re all absolutely huge and more than likely in America. So I’ve not really been looking at the layout of rooms but more the little details that I know would look fab in any size house.
Today I thought I’d share with you my kitchen inspo. I think the kitchen is probably going to be one of my favourite rooms because I do enjoy cooking, but I LOVE baking! And right now living at Yusuff’s dads house, there isn’t enough worktop space for me to get my bake on. But the new house has soooo much room, even though it’s long and narrow. So yeah, here’s my inspo guys.
I love the grey and white theme in this kitchen, it just looks so fresh and modern. We currently have oak looking cabinets in our kitchen and I have actually been looking into how best to paint kitchen cabinets. Yano, up cycling and what not.
Just wow. Look how simple yet effective this is. If you’re one for simplicity then you need this kitchen. I just love them tiles and this effect has me all googly eyed.
Oh the decorative yet organised shelves! Think I really liked this one purely for the fact that it has a food mixer and I have one too so now mine can actually be on show rather than kept in the box! But in all seriousness, having organised shelves and cupboards is going to be a big thing in our house haha!
Right, I think I’m going to leave it there. Keep it short and sweet. In all honesty, I don’t know how long or short this type of post is supposed to be, but I figured I won’t drag it out too much because like I said, there’s going to be plenty more of these posts to come.
If anyone knows of any nice home interior shops then please let me know. I want to slowly start buying things before we move in.
